This customer’s silicone product required curing at a very specific temperature. If the product was too cool, a full cure would not be realized – too hot and damage or softening of the product substrate would potentially occur. INTEK’s electric infrared flat-panel heater worked perfectly for this process with infinite controllability via digital temperature control and thermocouple input. Insulated walls and a top-opening chest-style door made accessing the product quite easy. A lower removable tray allowed for convenient, effortless cleaning if needed.
